My name is Maddy and I loved making your bag! I design and make every Madbag right here in Melbourne.
With a background in fashion design, I bring a trained eye for form, function, and detail into every piece I create. What started as a love of textiles and making has grown into a collection of bags designed to be used, loved, and made to last.
I’m drawn to bold prints, beautiful materials, and thoughtful construction — the kind of details that make something feel special every time you reach for it.
Each bag is handmade in small batches using ethically sourced materials, with a focus on quality and minimal waste. No mass production, no excess — just carefully made pieces designed to last.
I believe the things we use every day should feel good, work well, and reflect who we are. That’s what I aim to create with every Madbag.

I've been using my bag for two weeks now, and it's still a joy everytime I pick it up. I love the fabric and the leather. I love the way the zippers are framed with zippery striped fabric. I love the lining fabric and the roominess and design overall. I love the skill involved in the making. And the eucalyptus fabric is just beautiful.

Gorgeous bag! Perfect size to fit everything I need without being too big. The side compartment and internal pocket are great to separate what I need. Love the colour of the blue daisy fabric with the beautiful tan leather. Love it! 🥰
I received my bag today and am so pleased with it. I procrastinated as it was an online purchase. But its better than I expected. The colour is exactly as shown ..I bought the yellow eucalyptus fold over. ..it came with a protected bag ..just get one.. think I need a wallet now..
